Mixing Instructions
How to mix your Masterblend Hydroponics Fertilizer Set? Follow these instructions for an optimal result in mixing your Masterblend hydroponic nutrients. Warning before starting! Don’t mix the components ahead of time, as to do so will cause a nutrient lockout, rendering some nutrients unavailable for the plants. The usage of protective gloves for working with these nutrients is recommended.
Keep in mind that a lack of nutrients is less harmful for your plants than an abundance. Better be on the low side than on the high side! Mix the components in this order into warm water:
- Masterblend 4-18-38 Fertilizer
- Magnesium Sulphate
- Calcium Nitrate
Stir the water thoroughly after adding each component, until they have dissolved completely. There should not be any residue left on the bottom of the water container.
Use the following amounts in grams per 10 litres of water:
Masterblend 4-18-38 | Calcium Nitrate | Magnesium Sulphate | |
Leafy Greens | 5.3 | 5.3 | 2.65 |
Fruit Bearing Plants | 6.3 | 6.3 | 3.15 |
